Feeding Baby – Breastfeeding and Beyond

October 1, 2010 By Emily McClements
Thank you for supporting this site with purchases made through links in this post.

If you hadn’t noticed, I’ve been a little busy lately with contributing posts at Keeper of the Home and Green…Your Way.  It’s been so awesome to be able to write for these different blogs, and today I have another guest post to share with you.

I was thrilled to also have the opportunity to write for Kitchen Stewardship because you all know how much I love Katie, her blog, her recipes, her ebook, and her approach to finding balance and being a good steward of the resources God has blessed us with.

So, I’m excited that today I’m over at Kitchen Stewardship with a guest post on feeding your baby, starting with breastfeeding and moving on to beginning solids foods. It’s a two part series (I guess I was a little long winded). 🙂 So the first post is today and the second post will be at Kitchen Stewardship next Friday.

From the post:

The same goes for food. We want to give them the best food that we can, but we also want to teach them to enjoy food that is healthy and good for them.  We worry about when they eat, what they eat and how much they eat. We want our kids to be happy, but we also want them to be well-fed.

When we make choices about what we feed our babies, we are making decisions that will impact the kind of eater that they become as they grow older. We can have a positive effect on the eating habits of our kids when we choose to feed them well from the very beginning. Read more…

Thank you Katie for the opportunity to write for Kitchen Stewardship! Be sure to check back next Friday for the second half of the series.  And coming up on Monday is the next step in our Simple Steps Series!
