Your Green Resource — Week 17

January 19, 2012 By Emily McClements
Thank you for supporting this site with purchases made through links in this post.

Ready to remove toxic cleaners from your home? Find out how!

It’s Your Green Resource time again! I love seeing how this link-up is growing and the great ideas you all are sharing every week!

And, of course, many thanks to the lovely ladies who host Your Green Resource with me each week:

  • Andrea at The Greenbacks Gal
  • Stacy at A Delightful Home
  • Megan at Sorta Crunchy

Remember when you link up a post to Your Green Resource, your post will be shared on ALL of our blogs!

In addition to making this a weekly place where you can both share and learn new green ideas, each week we’ll be Pinning our favorite post to the Your Green Resource board! We want your green posts to get as much exposure as possible – so we’ll pin the post for you!

This week’s featured post is:

Natural and Frugal Ways to Freshen Your Home, including a recipe for homemade peppermint room spray from The Prairie Homestead. My home is definitely in need of some freshening up this time of year with being stuck indoors all day, every day, and I love these ideas!

Now it’s your turn! Link up your green posts, old or new, on any of the following topics:

  • Real Food Recipes
  • Repurposed Projects
  • Upcycled Projects
  • Organic Gardening Tips
  • DIY Natural or Green
  • Thrifty Solutions

*Please make sure to link to the post with your green/natural living idea, not your homepage. Also, to spread the word about Your Green Resource to your readers, please make sure to include a link back to one of the four hostesses for this weekly link-up!

As always, I’m excited to see what you have to share this week!

Whoo! Thanks so much for featuring my Natural Ways to Freshen Your Home post! This week I’m sharing another post in that same series. This time we’re chatting about using the sense of sight to make our homes cozier. Have a great Thursday!

What a great resource this is! And I’m excited to contribute — except that both of my attempts kind of bombed. 🙁 My contribution is the teething biscuits — my first link’s picture didn’t work and then the one with the picture has some kind of weird format to it. Sigh. Anyway, thanks for letting me share and I can’t wait to check out the other links, too!
