Your Green Resource — Week 41

July 5, 2012 By Emily McClements
Thank you for supporting this site with purchases made through links in this post.

Ready to remove toxic cleaners from your home? Find out how!

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July yesterday! We enjoyed a cookout with friends complete with fishing, riding horses, a huge slip and slide, and even clay pigeon shooting for Jer! The kids had a great time, and Blair slept through the whole thing, even though it was almost 100 degrees outside! Whew! It’s been a scorcher this summer!

Kaelyn was so excited to ride a horse!

So, now it’s time for Your Green Resource again! Remember that when you link up your post to Your Green Resource here on Live Renewed, it will also be shared on these ladies’ great blogs!

  • Andrea at The Greenbacks Gal
  • Stacy at A Delightful Home
  • Megan at Sorta Crunchy

In addition to making this a weekly place where you can both share and learn new green ideas, each week we’ll be Pinning our favorite post to the Your Green Resource board! We want your green posts to get as much exposure as possible – so we’ll pin the post for you!

This week’s featured post is:

Cooking with Cast Iron from Whole Intentions – I got my first cast iron pan for Christmas and I love cooking with it. This is a great post with tips for seasoning and even reviving old cast iron pans and tips for cooking with cast iron.

Now it’s your turn! Link up your green posts, old or new, on any of the following topics:

  • Real Food Recipes
  • Repurposed Projects
  • Upcycled Projects
  • Organic Gardening Tips
  • DIY Natural or Green
  • Thrifty Solutions

*Please make sure to link to the post with your green/natural living idea, not your homepage. Also, to spread the word about Your Green Resource to your readers, please make sure to include a link back to one of the four hostesses for this weekly link-up!

**Please make sure that you link back to one of the hostesses in your post. Your post cannot be chosen to be pinned and featured unless you’ve linked to one of us! **

As always, I’m excited to see what you have to share this week!

I haven’t tried riding a horse and I wish I can try it on my vacation. Your daughter is having time in riding a horse.
