Your Green Resource — Week 44

July 26, 2012 By Emily McClements
Thank you for supporting this site with purchases made through links in this post.

Ready to remove toxic cleaners from your home? Find out how!

Wow! This summer is absolutely flying by, isn’t it?! In a little less than a month my daughter heads back to school, and I want to make sure that we enjoy and savor these last few weeks of summer!

But, now it’s time for Your Green Resource again! Remember that when you link up your post to Your Green Resource here on Live Renewed, it will also be shared on these ladies’ great blogs!

  • Andrea at The Greenbacks Gal
  • Stacy at A Delightful Home
  • Megan at Sorta Crunchy

In addition to making this a weekly place where you can both share and learn new green ideas, each week we’ll be Pinning our favorite post to the Your Green Resource board! We want your green posts to get as much exposure as possible – so we’ll pin the post for you!

This week’s featured post is:

hummus roll-up

Kid-Friendly Whole Wheat Hummus Roll-Up from The Soulicious Life – These look super yummy and easy, and I’ve been needing some new ideas for lunches around here. Can’t wait to try these!

Now it’s your turn! Link up your green posts, old or new, on any of the following topics:

  • Real Food Recipes
  • Repurposed Projects
  • Upcycled Projects
  • Organic Gardening Tips
  • DIY Natural or Green
  • Thrifty Solutions

*Please make sure to link to the post with your green/natural living idea, not your homepage. Also, to spread the word about Your Green Resource to your readers, please make sure to include a link back to one of the four hostesses for this weekly link-up!

**Please make sure that you link back to one of the hostesses in your post. Your post cannot be chosen to be pinned and featured unless you’ve linked to one of us! **

Please be sure to visit our sponsor for the month, Plan to Eat. I have really enjoyed using Plan to Eat for my meal planning, it’s helped me get back into it after Blair’s birth, and has really helped to simplify the process for me with all my recipes in one place and automatically creating a grocery list for me!

As always, I’m excited to see what you have to share this week!

I’m so excited you featured my hummus roll-ups this week, Emily, and hope your kids love them! Today I shared the not-so-sweet truth about honey; one more reason to buy local and/or organic. Have a great rest of the week!

That hummus looks great. I need to give homemade hummus a try again, especially with all the fresh herbs in the garden.
