Green in 365 series

This is Day 15 of the Green in 365 series!

One of the things that I dislike most about winter is having to clean my car off from snow and ice in the mornings. It’s bad enough to have to stand in the freezing cold so early in the morning to scrape off my car, but it also always seems to happen when I’m already running late.

One tip that I found on Pinterest last year is to use vinegar and water to help keep your car free of ice and frost overnight, or to help melt the ice off easily in the morning.

Fortunately for me, because we’ve had such a mild winter, I haven’t really been able to try this out for myself yet. I’ve sprayed my windows with vinegar and water at night a few different times, and my car was definitely frost and ice free the next morning, but I’m not sure if it was cold enough overnight for there to have been frost on the car anyway.

So, if you’ve tried this tip, or if you’re able to try it over the next week, let us know how it works for you!
