Your Green Resource 4.3.13 {Featuring: Make Your Own Solid Perfume}

Thank you for supporting this site with purchases made through links in this post.

Ready to remove toxic cleaners from your home? Find out how!

It’s spring break here this week, and along with celebrating Easter, we got to spend a few extra days visiting my family in Michigan and hanging out with my new nephew! It’s crazy how tiny newborns are, and then when I look at Blair who is almost 10 months old, how quickly they grow up! Blair even took some of her first steps this weekend! She’ll walk 2-3 steps between my husband and me, and then one morning she pulled up on the couch and then let go and walked 3-4 steps to where I was sitting on the floor! It goes by so, so quickly, and I can’t believe my baby is not such a baby anymore!

Now, it’s time for Your Green Resource again! Remember when you link up your post to Your Green Resource it’s shown here at Live Renewed, and on all of these lovely ladies’ blogs:

  • Beth at Red and Honey
  • Megan at Sorta Crunchy
  • Mindy at Creating Naturally
  • Rebekah at Simply Rebekah
  • Stacy at A Delightful Home

Every week we each pick our favorite post to pin to the YGR Pinterest board, this week’s featured post is:

make your own solid perfume

Make Your Own Solid Perfume from Sustain, Create and Flow – I don’t wear perfume anymore because of the chemicals found in them, and because the fragrance now irritates me, but I love this idea for making homemade solid perfume! And I also love learning about new natural living products, like the amber oil in this recipe!

Now it’s your turn to share your green living posts with us! Link up your post (not your homepage), old or new, on any of the following topics:

  • Real Food Recipes
  • Repurposed Projects
  • Upcycled Projects
  • Organic Gardening Tips
  • DIY Natural or Green
  • Thrifty Solutions

*Please make sure to include a link back to one of the hostesses for this weekly link-up to help spread the word about Your Green Resource. We’d also love your pins, FB likes, tweets & shares!

As always, I’m excited to see what you have to share this week!

    Hi Emily!
Thanks for hosting and for featuring my solid perfume recipe. I fee the same as you not using perfumes anymore because of the ingredients. This is a perfume I can get behind though 🙂 My daughter is 8.5 months and starting to pull herself up, so walking is not far off. It does go by soooooo fast, I agree!
