Today I’m over at Green…Your Way talking about steps you can take and changes you can make to go green in your bathroom. From the post:

It’s the smallest room in the house, the bathroom, but making even small changes to your routine in this room can have a big impact on your journey toward going green. There are so many different opportunities to change products or change habits, making it easy to get started with just one small change and then move on to others after that has become a natural and normal part of your routine. Read more…

I give lots of great ways that you can switch from conventional products to more natural, green and frugal options. If you’ve been meaning to make green changes to your bathroom routine, this is the place to start!

Conserving water is a major way we can all ‘go green’ in the bathroom! Take shorter showers, don’t fill tub too full for baths, and never leave water running while brushing teeth!

let me give you a BIG FAT THANK YOU from Indiana. I recently tried about EVERY homemade product on your site and I am thrilled with all of them. My favorite, by far, is the “No ‘Poo Method” for hair care. WOW! My hair has always been a problem for me- super thick, coarse, and easily greasy- Trying this method was NASTY at first, but with the encouragement I pushed through the early period, and now my hair has NEVER LOOKED BETTER! In fact, I LOVE IT now. Look forward to more new ideas. Thank you!

I am eager to try these tips. A little leary of the No Poo Method as I have very long (past my waist) hair and fight to keep it tangle free and smooth. Still, I’m considering it, just nearvous about the transition period and having to go to church and other public places weekly.
