Your Green Resource {12.13.12}

December 12, 2012 By Emily McClements
Thank you for supporting this site with purchases made through links in this post.

Ready to remove toxic cleaners from your home? Find out how!

I have to start out this week by reminding you to PLEASE LINK BACK TO ONE OF THE HOSTESSES BLOGS when you are linking up to YGR. I came across several posts this week that I would have liked to feature, but couldn’t because they didn’t link back to YGR. We really want Your Green Resource to be a great resource for you, and your readers, and it’s important to share YGR with your readers by linking back to us. Thanks!

Okay, so it’s time for another YGR this week! We’re getting closer and closer to Christmas and we are getting excited at our house! But, it hasn’t snowed at all yet, and the temperatures have actually been pretty mild (which I can’t really complain about), but I do like at least a little snow for Christmas time. What about where you live? What’s the weather like? Has it snowed yet?

Remember when you link up your post to Your Green Resource it’s shown here at Live Renewed, and on all of these lovely ladies’ blogs:

  • Beth at Red and Honey
  • Megan at Sorta Crunchy
  • Mindy at Creating Naturally
  • Rebekah at Simply Rebekah
  • Stacy at A Delightful Home

Every week we each pick our favorite post to pin to the YGR Pinterest board, this week’s featured post is:

raising butterflies

Kids Gardening Gift: Raise Butterflies from Frugal (Local) Kitchen. We’ve been talking so much lately about simplify gift giving, and I absolutely love this idea as a fun gift for kids that is simple, inexpensive, and educational! My kids are maybe a little young for this type of gift this year, but I will definitely keep it in mind for future years! Thanks for sharing, Barb!

Now it’s your turn to share your green living posts with us! Link up your post (not your homepage), old or new, on any of the following topics:

  • Real Food Recipes
  • Repurposed Projects
  • Upcycled Projects
  • Organic Gardening Tips
  • DIY Natural or Green
  • Thrifty Solutions

*Please make sure to include a link back to one of the hostesses for this weekly link-up to help spread the word about Your Green Resource. We’d also love your pins, FB likes, tweets & shares!

As always, I’m excited to see what you have to share this week!

Wow! Thanks for featuring me this week! I love giving gifts that are more experience-oriented rather than bring more stuff in my home.

    Hi Emily,
Thanks for hosting! Lots of great posts…can’t wait to get started 🙂 I wanted to grab the hop button to share on my posts, but I don’t see it on your page…am I overlooking it? I have a text link for now, but would like to update that 🙂
