Green in 365 series

This is Day 89 of the Green in 365 series!

We’ve been talking all about starting solids and baby led weaning this week, and I’ve tried to give a general overview, but really this a huge topic with tons of information that I could never do justice in just a few short posts.

So, I wanted share some other links and resources with you so you can do further reading and research for yourself and your baby.

Also, I just wanted to mention that while this method is usually called Baby Led Weaning, I think of it more as Baby Led Feeding. Breast milk is still the most important food that our baby gets, and provides all of the nutrition that she needs. She will continue nursing for probably at least another year, so we’re actually not weaning any time soon, but this gradual process of switching from exclusive breastfeeding to exclusive solid foods is called weaning.
