This is Day 160 of the Green in 365 series!
Do you want to start making green changes to your home and lifestyle, but you’re overwhelmed with where to start? Or have you been making some green changes, but now you’re feeling stuck or unsure what to do next? Read on, because I have something exciting to share with you today!
I have to start by being honest here, I started off this year planning to run the Green in 365 series, posting green living tips, ideas and inspiration 6 days a week for the whole year. It was a bold undertaking, and while I still think it’s a great idea, the truth is that it hasn’t really worked out the way that I wanted and expected it to.
I envisioned the series as something that would be really practical and helpful for you guys, my readers, I wanted (and still want) to encourage you in your day to day life to make choices that are healthier for your family, good for the planet, and in many cases will save you money at the same time.
But, I don’t feel like the series was accomplishing that as well as it could or should have. And I also started to get burned out on the post every day thing (as I’m sure you could tell if you’ve been following along over the past few months!) I tried to get back into it, but I also need to acknowledge when something’s not working the way I want it to, and change it up and move on.
I want to do something that is really practical and helpful for you who are on this green living journey, and trying to make changes with your family and around your home.
I’ve decided to run a series helping real families to make green and healthy changes to their homes and lives!
Coming Soon: The Green Living Makeover Series!
I’m super excited about this, and hope that you guys will be too, because if you’re interested, I want you to apply and I’m going to choose 4 families to recieve a Green Living Makeover! I’ll be discussing each family’s goals and challenges on their green living journey and helping them to makes eco-friendly changes to their homes and lifestyles.
I think the great thing about this series is that it won’t just be helpful for those four families, I hope that all of you will be able to identify with challenges and obstacles that these families face and find ideas and encouragement for your own green living journeys!
